For
High Schools |
| High
Schools primarily seek elective courses, but in some cases
a school needs a solution other than an elective course,
such as an effort coordinated through the PTA, a collaboration
with an after school program or another unique circumstance.

Course Pack |
LearntoLearn
Elective Course Packs are designed with high schools
in mind. The elective pack considers everything from the administrative
decision to offer the elective to the end of course report.
We can even help get the the course up and running when a last
minute budget decision necessitates a quick start. |
| Alternative
Implementations |
While
some courses are taught over the course of a year for credit,
there may be other opportunities to provide a study skills course,
suchas in a study hall or afterschool program. We can work with
you to design a study skill program for any need. |

Solutions |
LearntoLearn
Courses teach as many as 15 topics to students of
all levels. Our familiarity with the time needed to teach
topics and skills helps us determine what can be taught effectively
in a given time or setting.
So we can assess students' ages and needs, along with the
instructional, scheduling and administrative constraints to
help you find a curriculum that you can best offer given your
unique situation. |
Teacher
Training
& Support |
Our
teacher training is a threefold process. First, the instructional
materials are designed to be self-explanatory, so that even
without training, a qualified teacher could be very effective.
Secondly, our training is designed both to help with instruction
and to work through the classroom dynamics. In other words,
the training also includes feedback about the actual course
that will be taught. Third, we can support teachers during
the course. In the event that a teacher is uncertain about
something or had to cut a lesson short for any reason, we can
provide feedback and offer guidance. |
