PTA Fundraiser

What are we selling?

The fundraiser is to sell one year enrollments for the online study skills course that includes student and parental access. The cost of the enrollment is discounted 25% by the offer and the PTA receives $25 for every enrollment sold.  Parents, grandparents and other fundraiser supporters can purchase the enrollment for their students or for parents.  Since enrollments last a full year, a family can enjoy a self-paced program that suits their individual needs.

   
Step 1:
Request Information
Getting started, is a simple as requesting information about how the fundraiser works.  We can send you a packet or email you a PDF file that has all the information you need to understand how the fundraiser works. Click here to request more information about the PTA Fundraiser.
Step 2:
Present & Approve
Once you see how it works, you can simply hand out the provided materials at your next PTA meeting.  The materials spell out the entire process from A to Z.  You can approve it on the spot or table it until the next meeting when everyone has had a chance to think about it. We will be happy to answer questions that help with your decision.
Step 3:
Distribute Flyers

Once approved, you need only distribute flyers to parents and talk it up a little when people ask.  The flyer explains the online program, then discount offer, then fiundraiser and includes a registration form.  The flyer also include our web site address so parents can find more information and ask us questions directly.

Step 4:
Process Orders

Everything you need to administer the fundraiser is provided.  Parents simply fill out the form on the flyer and turn it back in with a payment.  A PTA volunteer can gather the forms and fill out a simple order form and drop it in the mail.  The order form, envelope and anything else you may need is provided.  The order form also indicates exactly how much money the PTA should receive.

Step 5:
Login!
Once we receive your order from, we will process them and then provide login information to individuals. We will also send a fundraiser summary report to the PTA representative.
Step 6:
Make a Deposit
Study Skills Institute will send a check along with the processed order form and summary report to the PTA.  The check amount should match the amount on the order form.
Handling the Funds Parents can either write checks to "Study Skills Institute" or to your PTA.  So we can process your payment or vice versa.  It is your choice.

Do it again!
While you may not want flood people with the same fundraiser, it is easy enough to do a fundraiser like this more than once per year. You can also send in a second order form for anyone who missed the fundraiser deadline but still wants to participate.
